TASK: to use images of your object that was photographed and explore the relationship between type and image, creating one dynamic poster design and one traditional poster design.
Task: Product Photography. Take twenty photographs with interesting compositions of your chosen object. I chose to photograph a plastic dinosaur toy that I had painted half white and half gold. This was my favourite picture out of the twenty.
An assignment to create a image/mark that represents yourself. The bear represents my motherly, nurturing, protective and stubborn nature. The lines and triangles represent my view of what design should be, that it must have a direction and should be a fresh new look, even if inspired by a style with history.
Everyone should check out Jacklyn Hancock and her amazing work, from photography, to paintings and even sculptures. She just has an eye for capturing the world in a different way.
Snapped some photos while driving home from my parents house tonight back to my house. Love this particular spot on the back-roads drive where you get to the top of a hill and can see all of brampton and toronto infront of you in the far distance! At night time I love the cityline of lights, so great. Thought I would pull over quickly tonight to snap a few but it was quite chilly so I didnt last long. Enjoy ahah 😀
